Sorry for the late reply. I was camping in the middle Cameron County, PA.
I got everything from Amazon. I got the filter and housing kit. It comes with a tool for the filter housing and I didn't know about the Motivx tool and kit (link below) before I purchased it.

Got my 6112s lowered a notch to the 5th an 4th setting. Both were set on the 6th notch....hoping for a better ride.
Got some photos edited from our last trip. Here's a little sneak peak.
I absolutely love the Trail 2nd Gen build. So much left to do.
After a couple years of beat to hell knees, I decided to get the SnailArmor tailgate flat panel cover. The install took about 10-15 minutes, and so far I'm loving the look and feel of it.
I also installed the Engine and Transmission skids from OK Expedition. They came as a set for $690 (US dollars as this company is from B.C. Canada) total, including taxes and shipping, it was one of the best priced sets in ALUM I could find. While they are built entirely out of ALUM, these babies are very solid and are constructed to take a beating (see last pic for underside construction).

Canadian skid manufactures?!? No way!!
Yep!!! They are in Kelowna, BC, and shipping to Los Angeles was about $60 USD. I talked with a few people who have them and they all had nothing but good things to say about the skids and the company. So far I'm sold!

They totally are. The middle stiffener plate, front gussets, and front attachment angle are all legit and everything is 1/4"; not to mention the welds look and are amazing! Total of 40#'s for both skids, so that helps with the other weight I have on the truck already (front & rear steel bumpers, steel sliders, winch, snugtop cap, prinsu cab rack, and last but not least 200#'s of doggos). Suspension, tires, and re-gear is all that's missing
Got my baby back from the body shop. Looks like new.

I got a 2017, bought it with 38K... just broke 71K the other day..... barely had the truck a whole year
Took a trip to Lowes to get a few deck boards. Was a bit nervous driving home with a couple of 12’ boards in a 5’ bed.
I put straps on just inside the bed, ratcheting them tight to the top of the tailgate. Usually takes care of the potential for slippage.
I used a strap from one hook just inside the bed, over the boards and to the other hook. I was nervous about them bouncing up from the other end when driving on the crappy CT roads.

Not my truck, but snapped some rollers of my buddy's truck on the way back from the dunes!
Dropped the truck off for gears and a rear E locker, after a year of running 35s and all the weight possible lol
Installed this convenient tailgate storage. Works great for recovery gear, air up and down gear, and a tool roll. From Hurricane Fab in Australia. They just launched this and it’s on pre order currently.
