• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    King Springs

So I’m looking for some guidance on my front suspension, can you eliminate preloading a king shock with a taller spring? Currently have 14” 550 springs on the front, I need to make the step up to 600lb springs so can I get the 16” and not preload it or just stick with 14” 600lb? My rear set up...

Well, after receiving a decent offer I sold my TRD pro. Wasn’t really attached to it and have kinda wanted something outside the norm lately anyways so I let it go. I have demello off-road on mine. 0 or 25 degree isn’t going to matter a great deal just as long as you have them on the truck. It’s what I hit on mostly on the trail. There is a thread on here about the different slider options out there just search for it and it will help you out

Welcome to the group! If you plan on hitting the trails I would suggest putting sliders at the top of your priority list and just figure out what you need from there, the more you ride the more you learn and you will see what you need along the way.

Any and all input on 37's is needed...

The RCLT does look nice but at the same time I want to see what they price it at. If I can keep from going any form of long travel to keep the truck from sitting wide, a lot of the trails we ride around here are narrow as it is.

Awesome, do have 529 and don't run alot of weight either, just a tool chest in bed and some armor. No bedrack or rooftop tent and all that. I appreciate you helping me out! Can't wait to see watch you alls build continue.

Seeing their truck on IG has actually been my inspiration. I'm just trying to gather all information that I can and all the opinions that I can before making the jump. Those tires aren't cheap lol and I'm also having to go to 17" rims as well if I do go to 37's

I'm finally to the point on wanting to take my truck to the next level. I've been tossing around the idea of making the jump to 37 inch tires, along with some other mods like hangers, shock relocation etc. I'm really just trying to get opinions from anyone on pro or cons of running 37's. My...

    Marlin Crawler RCLT-HD

I'm with you on the price. It has my interest but one of my main concerns is replacement parts, everything on the system is different than any other long travel kit out on the market so how hard would it be to get parts if they break?

You don't have to remove the sway bar to lift the truck. Some do, some don't. They are running 700 lb springs to make the front a little stiffer to make up for the fact that the sway bar isn't there.
