If you are someone who replied to the private message about donations and I still haven't gotten back to you; I will, I promise!

I was blown away by how many well-written insightful responses I got. I've been working through them as fast as I can. I think I still have 40 or so to reply to. 🥰

Back to work I go! See you in a few hours, outside world.

Happy Valentine’s from @Paige and I 💖

@Paige installed our Anytime Camera yesterday. I think it sat in the garage for like 2 years lol.

The anytime backup camera is great but the front camera seems useless to me so I’m gonna see if I can mount it inside the front bumper near the skid plate, facing backwards, so I can see under the whole truck.

I still need to figure out where to put my front one. Facing backwards is a cool idea.

I was thinking of facing it at the windshield so we could wave at ourselves while we drive.

But really, once I saw it on the screen I realized I have no use for it. If I can face it backwards under the truck, that would definitely be handy.

I forgot to take a picture but my favorite part of the install is where I put the switch. I took out the (useless to me) Qi wireless charging switch and put it in that spot. Much more convenient than trying to find a new switch spot.

Did you make your Qi "always on" or just gone?
I'm not sure why I would want to switch this feature on or off. Doesn't the presence of my phone do that?

Just gone. I've never used it. I can see it being useful for some people but my phone-while-driving-flow is different. I keep my phone mounted above the dash and I use that spot for keys/other junk.

If you have it disconnected like I do now, your phone won't turn it on. But if you disconnect the switch and "always on" mod it, then your phone would begin the charge whenever you place it on that area.

@Bird dog and @RevN3 what browser are you using? I am using Firefox and have experienced a few oddities in various cloud platforms
I'm using Chrome but I've got some plugins that might be impacting things. uBlock Origin, HTTPS everywhere and Privacy Badger. Still, I've had them running for years and I've never seen an issue where I hear a video but not see it. Let me do some testing with them disabled.

EDIT: looks like uBlock Origin was always disabled here and disabling the other two made no difference.

Don't worry about changing your settings I think it must be server related on my end.

Since December we've been on a road life hiatus due to some medical things we both had to take care of. Well, guess what... this week we're hitting the road again, finally! We'll be in the northeast for a while, Maine especially. But starting in June and throughout most of the summer, we have some west coast events to be at, including all of the Overland Expos to show our truck for Four Wheel Campers.
