• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

UPDATE: I got the URD Spec-U exhaust installed, pics included this time!

Rich, when you guys coming back down this way?

Also did a little pinstripe clean up, in prep for last cars and coffee or the season. Far from good, but good from far.

Well we moved to Dixon, Mo and now have a farm out here. Still have the truck, but we’re now about 1.5 hours from Springfield.

Going to be going to Rendezvous in the Ozarks later this month.

Added a bike mount. For details:

What size fenders and bedsides are you running?

SSO Slimline, Smittybilt X20, Factor 55 fairlead and Ultrahook. Love this bumper.

Looks great,.... good choice!
Thats the one I was looking at as well..... Where did you get it, how much of a wait on it?
Did you install it? If so, how hard was the job (1 or 2 man) & did you have to cut very much?

Ordered 5/27, it was ready 9/30. Had it installed by SSO in Baton Rouge because it was only $200 for them to do it. Worth it for me.

exhausted. getting old sucks. wrapped up the 9100 install and IT WORKS!!! I've got lights again!! tried hooking up my dual volt battery meter but can only get one to display. tried a few different things with no luck. problem for another day. tomorrow or Sunday will be trying to install the joying headunit.

I love the look of this switch panel. Does it come with different switch options or can you customize them, or how does that work?

you wire up each accessory to a whatever switch you want.

Was able to fit a 34” tire under the bed as my spare. I tried fitting a 35” it was a no go. But for a spare, I think I’ll be ok with a 34.

My 33" rubs the differential. This probably will too.

Did you do the spare tire hanger bracket relocation mod? My 33" spare doesn't rub on anything with it done and looks like there's room for a 34 without much trouble.

Link here in this lonnnnnng post if you haven't seen it before.
Not familiar with that mod. But I did relocate the tire locating tabs with a sledge hammer.

Well that looks easy...

Drilling the holes is easy, getting to the 12mm bolts sucks. If you do this mod, put the further 2 bolts back in first (ones closest to the front of the truck) or you'll have to remove the closer ones to access them. A ratcheting wrench is your friend for this.

Could install some rivnuts...

Does it come with different options or do you have to purchase them separately?
Not trying to be rude, but you should really just watch a video on how the switch pros works. It’ll be able to explain it much better than a lengthy paragraph in here. I love mine and I recommend it to anyone that will be wiring accessories into their truck.

Here’s one video for instance that I thought was pretty good.

I was worried about it not being real, but I’m fairly certain it is. Mine looks like what you got. The pic on Amazon is wrong.
