• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

Me over here wondering where my invite was

You driving out from New Hampshire? Lol.

Was able to fit a 34” tire under the bed as my spare. I tried fitting a 35” it was a no go. But for a spare, I think I’ll be ok with a 34.

Just got done installing an overhead molle panel I got off a guy on a Facebook group. I couldn't keep the factory oh s#!+ handles so I was thinking about doing some Paracord ones anyone have any tutorials?

921 reverse LED lights = 150% improvement,
Fogs to a H16 LED and FRT. Lows to a direct projection white gas 55w inside the stock projection housing.

I get why they do not do this at the factory as it is a $$$$ add on,.. BS+BS=BS
but $75+$25 = DONE

Already done most of the bigger mods to my truck so knocking out some smaller ones now while saving for sliders and a stereo overhaul.. but I threw in a K&N VF2005 cabin filter last night to replace my 3600-mile old factory one. Old filter was only barely brown but the A/C flows noticeably easier. No weird smell either since they're not oiled the same as the engine filters. Yay for mods I probably wouldn't have purchased if I didn't get an unexpected Amazon gift card lol. Was too dark to take pics but seems worthwhile so far.

Installed large front cupholders from Z precision this afternoon.
Just got mine installed too. Really nice build quality since they're injection molded and perfect fitment.

I made a rubber insert to reduce rattling and threw a layer of Noico on the underside to help insulate and reduce cabin noise.

Sub install complete. Sounds a thousand times better than the powered sub. Those on the fence for getting a powered sub, save your pennies and just get a full size.

I cant wait to do the audio in the truck. This is the longest I've ever gone without adding subs, driving me nuts lol. At least I have a 10 in the daily.

Alpine MRV M500? I was sad when I got my tC and couldn't fit that under the seat where I wanted. Had to get rid of it and get one even smaller.

Yessir! It's discontinued now. It had great reviews on Crutchfield, so I couldn't pass up the $120 cost. Fit's perfect under the seat. Just need to build a rack for it so it doesn't slide around.

That looks sick!! What do you mean by a powered sub though?

Maintenance Day!
Did the 2nd oil change @ 5000 (1st was 1000)
Torque checks and all is well..... 2 Beer Job.

Windy after the storm passed by BUT it kept things cool,..... good ole' silver lining.

A smaller enclosure that has a built in amplifier. I'd personally pass on it, I should of just went this box route from the get go.
Gotcha. I’ve never heard of TT. If I had, I would have purchased an enclosure like yours, definitely like the style.

Drove @Tacomadad18 around. Since his 3rd gen isn’t driving right now.
Rich, when you guys coming back down this way?

Also did a little pinstripe clean up, in prep for last cars and coffee or the season. Far from good, but good from far.
