• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Well my carista arrived and unfortunately it does can’t turn off the warning signal when the key leaves the car while the engine is running.

Any how, I changed the lane change auto flasher count to 5, turned off the driver and passenger seatbelt chimes, and a couple of other little things.

I’ll need to remind myself to cancel that subscription before my free trial ends.

(y) for the Krazy Beaver :) I went with their shovel as well because it seems it also be used in self defense :)

as for the grill options.... meh :/

Lol yeah my 2 yr old son pulled it out of the box and stabbed me in the foot when it arrived. Hurt like hell!

I imagine you'll fashion some kind of sheath for it then :)

S-mode invert harness and Meso dome light installed 🤙🏻 So happy I can see how filthy my kid is making my back seat.

ah and now we know a Diono fits back there too!

“Damn homie where’d you get that dope-ass hi-lift mount?”

“Ah snap bro I got it from Truck Brigade and homeboys hooked it up with a sick PVC patch too.”

Well, I ordered the Lil’ B’s sliders from Offroad Elements and they called shortly after to let me know that Lil B’s isn’t making sliders anymore. This was news to them too. Way to go Lil B’s.

Super rad phone mount solution for super rad awesome people.

My big issue was finding a low-profile mount that would work with my 3TPAM that was not ugly and bulky. I’ve always hated the look and size of the arms and knobs and shit hanging around. I also wanted something sturdy and to be able to easily rotate my phone.

Then I found this company, Quad Lock, that makes a good looking phone mount for motorcycles and bikes. Turns out they make a Ram ball attachment which still would not work without the use of an arm, but looking at the mount I decided I might be able to retrofit it. So I grabbed their phone case, their ball mount and a vibration dampener. Then made a quick $3 trip to Home Depot for a spacer and a 1” long bolt. Threw it all together and wallah! I’ve got a low profile, solid, rigid, rotating & vibration-proof phone mount. And also a pretty slick phone case to boot. Fucking win.

I was organizing my garage cabinets and found an ARB breather kit that I purchased like 4 months ago and forgot about. So long story short I didn’t finish organizing my cabinets and now have a diff breather extension in my bedside cubby.

Also picked up another Pelican for the roof.

So a buddy of mine was just in a major injury accident where a drunk driver blew a light and T-boned him doing about 40 mph. Totaled his Duramax 2500 and put the drunk driver in the hospital. There was a cop at the intersection and his dash camera has proven to be very useful in the case. It got me thinking and I bought a dash camera for all of my vehicles the next day.
I just wanted a no frills, super basic dash cam that had good app support so I went with the Garmin Mini. Powered it off of the rear view mirror with a Dongar Tech USB adapter paired with a 4" USB cable for a super clean install. MicroSDXC card is a high endurance SanDisk 128GB. Hopefully that memory card is big enough to last a long time.

Took advantage of their 20% off promo and picked up the 'ol Mountain Hatch. I've gotta say I have zero use for this but I couldn't help myself. If you couldn't already tell, I'm a sucker for quick-easy mods.

Yo! Did you have issues? Wifey got me one and yesterday tried to install but the holes do not align? Did you get this problem?

Does that cam power wire plug into the harness that's there for the mirror?

I have always gotten better fuel mileage than a lot of people report. But I’m convinced it increased as well.

Biggest complaint I’ve had about my AJT key fob and the Meso one is that both of them require you ditch the backup key.

Picked up the YotaMD one. It’s too expensive but I’m happy with it.

Love my expedition essentials 👌 truck is lookin good 👍

I bought the Victory 4x4 center console molle panel because I'm an impressionable piece of work. Whatever... I'm rocking the entire @Victory4x4 molle lineup and have zero shame about it. They've got a fish on the hook if they develop a door molle panel. And if they're smart - they'll develop an interior molle rack and get it on the market ASAP to undercut MESO.

Also stole an idea from my arch nemesis @Classytacos and put a Pelican 1120 under the hood. What am I keeping in there? Not a fucking thing... but my cunt friends think it's cool.
