    Winter camping

    All good brother. It was a great time and the best trip we have had so far. The key to doing something like that is proper planning. Being two Marines we had contingency plan on top of contingency plan because we knew what we were going into. We thoroughly enjoyed the wilderness and Mother nature.

    Yeah we entered Bowman lake from the Lyndsay lake side and then when we left we headed to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. I think that's the side most people use that done have 4x4.

    What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

    Got the method 701s mounted after they were sitting in my garage for a couple weeks. Cab mount chop is next after immediately pulling into my driveway I experience rubbing.

    took almost 4 hours from the trail head to the camp site but it was totally worth it. the stock tires did outstanding. had them aired down to 18 psi with no issues.

    New suspension put on so a trip was in order. 6112s in front, 5160s in rear with heavy dakar. made the trip to coyote flats right outside of bishop. new leaf springs handled the weight even better then I anticipated.

    I just finished bay area metal fab rack with spray on bed liner. I used rustoleom. about 6 cans. it's perfect. I plan on doing my sliders the same way since it came out so nice. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
