• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What are you thinking on all your stock shit price wise?
The stock suspension has less than 2,000 miles so I'm probably going to try to get $250 for everything... Assembled front shocks/springs/top hats, rear shocks, leaf packs, UCAs, U-bolts, etc.

Tires I'm going to try to get $450 out of. They literally have 700 miles on them and have only been in dirt twice.

And if you were the one who wanted to buy this shit, we could even run it up to you probably. We're overdue for a Sedona / Flagstaff trip anyways.

What size were the old ones again? Not sure if I wanna get 17" rims, but tires would help for sure.

Hmm ok. I still need to finislize everything an get it all set out stright but it's 95% a forsure thing.
I don't need the tires though forsure I'm prob going to buy a factory set off a 2nd gen that someone on TW posted for $250

265/70R17... I bought them because I thought I wasn't lifting the truck so soon... LOL
This is exactly how I feel right now hahaha

No problem man, I totally understand. Just let me know. These tires will be super easy to sell so I'm not worried about that.

Thanks to @Jay for the 17" spare! Now I just need to nail down a 34" tire for it.

Confirmed that the leaf packs and leaf spring liners will be here tomorrow! And possibly the bumper too!! That will wrap up the parts that I'm waiting on!

Cool man, let me dig into rims for a bit and I'll let you know for sure, but I'll most likely take em! Do you have 4 or 5?

Just the four, I didn't upgrade the spare the first time because the size difference was negligible. Now that I've got 34's I have to buy a 5th haha

When are you doing the install?
Not sure exactly, waiting to hear from @JerryTaco2.0 to see what his schedule looks like first. He's understandably busy AF, so if he's not going to be available for quite some time then I'll have at it myself once the CMC and brake lines are done, depending on when that happens, which depends on Avid and SDHQ... I'm guessing within the next two weeks.

TL;DR I really don't know haha

I'm down to help turn a wrench or two and I'm just down the road.

I'm a few weeks out right now. I am leaving for vacation next weekend so I wouldn't be able to do anything until the second weekend in August. If you can wait til then, I am happy to help but this weekend I'll be tied up going over my truck since I will be taking it to CO

Thanks for the offer, I will definitely take you up on that when I'm putting the bumper on at least.

@JerryTaco2.0 no worries brochacho, that may work out perfectly... assuming you're referring to sometime around August 11th? My brake lines aren't going on until next week, and my CMC / pinch weld / sliders are getting done (hopefully) the week of the 6th. So if you're free early on Saturday the 11th or something, that would be awesome.

Getting armored up this weekend! The rear bumper arrives this afternoon and I just found out that my sliders are built, just waiting on paint and install now! That also means the CMC/pinch weld will be taken care of shortly.

Soooooooooo stoked :D

Ya'll really gotta pick the weekend I'm out of town, huh.

No way. You can never have too much. Plus 1 for parts pics. Keep’m coming.

:love::love::love::love:
Haha, no more parts are coming to the house, so this is it! I've got everything. Just waiting on SDHQ for the brake lines, but they're installing them too so I'll probably never see those off the truck.

Sliders, CMC and pinch weld are getting done tomorrow night! Hopefully the bumper is going on tonight, pending the manufacturer sending installation instructions.

Intake is on too now!

Damn! I do like those @SDHQ OFFROAD sliders. Truck is looking good.

Did you get he ADS’s mounted? I’ve read a lot of good things about them. Anxious to hear your thoughts.
These are Avid sliders, not the SDHQ ones. ;)

The suspension gets installed on the 11th of next month.

We ran out of time today so I have to go back to Avid next Wednesday to take care of the CMC and pinch weld, and the truck still needs to go to SDHQ for the brake lines before the rear shocks can go on.
