• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

Got my Coopers mounted then washed and waxed the snot out of it. I always ask myself. Why the eff did I buy black. Then I remember why when I see it all clean and shiny.
Black always looks best but it is definitely earned in sweat!

I installed 5.29 gears in the front and rear this weekend. Ordered from ECGS. Had a little help on the front from a friend. Took it out for a couple test drives/break in rides. It’s feeling really good now. Makes a real difference with 35s. Also my front now has an e-locker. Just need to wrap up the wiring and install the switch. Thanks to @Classytacos for the solid videos! Made the install a lot easier.

but then I drove the taco again, pondered the hours and days spent making it just right, and the memories of trips and kids and adventures.

And decided to stick with the Tacoma. Also didn't want to disappear from this hangout anytime soon. T3G is a great place.

Not really just today. Getting ready for trip that is dusty and dirty, so I enclosed the back area over the top of my Victory half rack. Used 1/8” & 3/16” ABS plastic. Also showing my antenna mounts. Adding a couple of vents for air flow with a large computer fan the blow the air out.

Great lights, you are going to love them. Just noticed your from central FL. I lived in Sanford, Lake Mary and Orlando growing up. I will be there in October.
Thank you. Any chance you are going to the Destination Outdoor event in Georgia. We have a small crew leaving here a couple days before so we can wheel and camp in Alabama and Tennessee before the event.

This is the first that I have heard about it. I will be heading your way the last week of October.

I just got my done on Tuesday, broke in the 500 miles from Tuesday-Friday. And tested them and the new Eaton E Locker yo front out yesterday. Game changer on 35s for sure.

Got the call my bumper was coated. Bought the R4T Bumper Caps. Had some ugly lines under the paint. Was told that was the mold. They should have just sanded them before painting. Wanted to avoid cutting mine since I'm hyper OCD. That was the reason why I sold my previous bumper. The Bumper Caps were pretty nice for the most part, but fitment was a little off.

R4T offered a full refund. I asked about a partial so I could just get it repainted. That wasn't an option. So back they go. Cut mine and they turned out petty good. Lucked out they just happened to line up with the fenders.

Always takes me forever to finish something because it always has to be perfect. I'm pretty happy how it turned out. See some cuts of others and they looked horrible.
