Finally got the AAP for my Bravo Rack. Got banged up. So I had to hammer on it to flatten it back on and shape it the best I could. There's chunks missing. Then sprayed it with Trim Touch up Paint. It bugs me, but oh well I guess.

Also upgraded the 1" RAM Mounts to 20mm aluminum mounts. Then got rid of the RAM arms for the carbon fiber arms. Got a new phone mount.

Lets see this set up! I just ordered my phone mount from Course Motorsports yesterday. The vent clip one sucks, keeps falling out.

It was $500 for all windows except the windshield. It felt steep, but that’s going rate around here (I have read prices vary significantly by location). After months of hot summer, the heat rejection sold me. As soon as I did it, I wished I did it sooner.
That's not too bad. for some reason I was imagining it being three or four times that, I don't know why.

Just some cosmetic, functional updates. Sorry for the long post - I kept meaning to update here as I went, but that didn't happen...lol

Put on a vinyl covered aluminum folding tonneau cover so I could lock crap up at work (with locking tailgate).

Front and rear inter weather floor liners because winter's a commin'.

I replaced the stock grill and painted the Toyota letters a couple of weeks ago.

Threw on some basic nerf bars for those of us that are vertically challenged. Also, as mentioned in another thread, I traded hoods with @B-Man 'cause he's an awesome guy!

Tinted the windows since the UV in Colorado is ridiculous.

Decided to go with an UpTop roof rack since those guys are just up the road 30 miles and excellent customer service! (Got my rack in 3 days!).

Installed a WeBoost OTR booster set-up since I usually have crappy signal even in town. Still waiting on a Rhino-Rack folding antenna mount, so this antenna location is temporary and obnoxious.

And just threw in an Overland Equipped auxiliary power kit (also excellent customer service!) for those things I want to buy but my wife won't let me...yet...lol

I think it’s all about perspective. When I first bought the truck (first new vehicle), I had to mentally recover from shelling out a lot of cash. As months go by, I find I justify each item because I want to customize my truck. This one was all about comfort (and privacy was a bonus). Highly recommend if you are drawn to it.

Nice looking truck! Lots of good updgrades. I have been scoping the Uptop roof rack as well as thier Diamondback Truss Rack. I may get the Weboost at some point too if I can justify it (and I prefer it to be more stealth too). Dreaming into it all right now. Did you get the Alpha or Bravo?

Hey C! The Taco is lookin' great!

Drove the taco and the Mrs to church. Drove 'er home. Started a load of laundry and the washer crapped on us. Lasted us 28 1/2 years and paid $100 brand new for it. Guess we got our money out of it! LOL Hopped in the Taco and off to Menards. The Taco carried our new washer home. All hooked up and washing clothes now. The Taco run well and did its job. LOL

Thanks! I went with the Bravo as it met my needs and was priced right for me. This WeBoost antenna is made for semi-trucks so it's a bit tall (they make smaller ones). Once I get the folding Rhino Rack antenna mount, I'll be able to lay it flat on the roof until I need it.

lol... I think your Taco will last at least 28 years!

Thanks. That seems like a good way to go. I have been considering a similar route with the roof rack, antenna mount, etc. if I go with the OTR. I have read the shark fin doesn’t perform as well so I am leaning against that, but still prefer it to be low key.
