SEAT HEIGHT MOD
Like many others, I don't find the seating position to be comfortable. I'm young and in decent shape, but my lower back would hurt after long trips... (Not a problem I experienced in my '04 Dodge 2500 even with a crappy seat) I'm 6'0 and my legs are just too dang long to deal with a seat that low. No support on my thighs/hips. I could slide all the way back, but then barely reach the steering wheel, lol.
I found someone selling seat spacers... but I decided I didn't want to wait, so I went the ghetto route and stacked five 3/16" spacers underneath the rear seat rail bolts (You have to get longer ones). All in all, it cost me around $10 and 5 minutes of "labor", lol. It made a world of a difference and I'm much more eager to take my truck on road trips now! No more back pain.
After living with this setup for a few thousand miles I think I may even add one or two more spacers for a slight height increase.
Hope this helps someone!

[Long story short.... JUST DO IT]

"Long story short" I call bullshit and this is not safe at all!

NO, NO, NO, DO NOT DO IT... I saw this on TW last week and just about fell off my chair at work laughing. I actually thought it was a joke at first. Some retard is trying to sell these kits in the 3rd gen forums with what looks to be grade 2 bolts. Although common sense is not very common over there, grade 2 bolts + a longer bolt length = very bad things happening in any sort of bad accident. From the way your post reads, it sounds like you're the one trying to peddle this bullshit, but I'm certainly not going to go back and search for it.

I realize it’s not as safe, but I’m not too worried about it. Guess I’m just young and dumb :).... (and really don’t like the daily back pain associated with the seating position for me).

And no, I’m not selling those spacers lol.

So much coming all at once! ?
I feel you, I did the same thing...
Merry Christmas man!

Just finished changing out my truck bed decals and detailing. I love it?? Getting old sticker residue off was a pain in the butt.

Replaced the air filter, fixed a connection issue I was having in my anytime rear camera setup, trimmed my bed mat to fit better with my bed stiffeners, and took some photos of stuff for a few different people.

Hell yes. I'm still at about 70 miles on mine. I have likes and dislikes with it but I'm still waiting on judging it.

Also, went downstairs to a flat tire this morning.

So that was fun. Figured out it was bleeding air from the connection at the bead and the tire. Only thing I can think of that caused it was tiny kiss of the curb yesterday. Honestly though I find it really hard to believe that's what did it, so I have no idea.

Also my spare was filthy. This picture is after I rinsed it off.
