so after yesterday’s trip up the mountain my truck sounded like a box of hammers over chattery stuff but quiet on larger compression.

today i decided it was to to remove the sway bar as i thought that was the culprit. take it off and go on a test drive. out of the driveway familiar clang. fuck.

decided to check skid plate bolts. sure enough the joint between front and mid all the hardware was loose. there’s my stupid box of hammers

I’ve always bought those cheap cans of engine degreaser from the parts store and then hosed it down. Seems to work alright in my opinion.
