Lord Humongous's Tow-coma

We drove out to Resevation lake which was frozen over. We followed snowmobile tracks all the way out to the lake and didnt see another soul all day. Perfect
I was actually having difficulty with one long hill in the snow. I tried 3 times and kept sliding into a ditch on the side of the road. I almost gave up but tried crawl control which actually worked amazing. Didnt slip a tire and drove straight as arrow.

I’ve been in two different situations where Crawl Control would’ve beeen perfect. Like a dumb ass, I forgot I even had it.
I almost did too. The crawl control hasn't proved to be all that useful in the desert where I normally am but It was absolutely amazing on that icy hill. As we were going up we could see tracks where what looked like another truck stopped and the only thing after that was sled tracks.

Sweet build man! I think you need more photos though. lol. I really like the location of your handheld mic for the radio. What did you use to mount it?

Finally getting around to putting a workbench together. This thing is gonna be heavy duty! I still need to finish welding some joints and add some tube to hang clamps and tools off of. I have 1/4" plate for the top and reinforced the area I'm going to mount my vice with 1/8" tube. Also considering welding a 12x12" piece of 1" to the top for a hammering area.

Nice work!! That thing isnt going anywhere!

Wheels and tires! I pretty much finished this thing up. I still need to add a bracket underneath so I can slide a folding roller stand underneath the tabletop. Kind of an after thought since I already painted it but that's what grinders are for.

Duuuuuude. Um, sooooo do you think you might be able to help a guy out and weld something for me? My rear bumper is coming today and I need the light filler plates burned in and then cut new holes for my flush mount BD S2's

Yeah bro not a problem when do you need it done by? It might be a week. Were going up to Zion for week when my shift is over Thursday morning.

No huge rush. I've waited this long so I don't mind. Just lemme know when you're free!! Thanks dude!

We went and looked at a big ol thing yesterday. Not happening in 2019 but the wife says its happening soon. I told her 4x4 or GTFO!

Those 4x4 Van's are big money!! A buddy of mine is currently building a Ford e series van into an "adventure van". Its currently 2 wheel drive but hes planning on the U Joint Off Road 4x4 conversion and solid axle swap

Tell me about it. Its about 60k for an empty 4x4 van plus a 6 to 12 month wait at the moment. Im definitely thinking about building a 7.3 Econoline but the wife is buying this one so she'll have the final say.

Been looking at Vanpers online today. I might be crazy but this also might make allot of sense! It also looks pretty rad.
