Jfrisch’s Red Taco build

A good alignment guy who understands aftermarket suspension is a rare find! I drove home last weekend almost 5 hours on the freeway with a skewed alignment! Nothing worse than steering wheel off center and front end fishing all over the road! But man did we have fun, attched is a short vidoe of the adventure!

Thanks for posting this good information!

Oh I know it’s a pain lol it drives me nuts if the wheel is crooked, it had to be fixed!

Nice video, looks like a good time!

High clearance fenders look natural lol. You going to high clearance the rear eventually to match?

I don’t have issues with the rear most of the time and if it does run, the bumper handles it well.

Plan is to do a flat bed

What trim piece did you use? A link would be great........yep a good inner liner that doesn’t interfere with tire while keeping crap out of the engine bay would be a nice find! Thanks again for sharing!

I used the edge trim from autozone. It’s the larger style u shape stuff, I went to 5 of them around me to find 4 of them lol thanks for watching!

What is your plan for the firewall and body mount? Also what kind of offset you thinking about running with your 37’s?

well once I get the tires, I’m gonna start on the fire wall. Body mount will most likely be relocated.

I’m gonna run them on these wheels for now and if need be I’ll run some steel wheels with more offset. Main reason being I plan on sas and then I’ll have to buy new wheels for 8 lug

How they should look. Still trying to find good enough edge trim to stick. Seems im always losing one part of it or antoher.

Have you used the“self adhesive” edge trim? That’s what I’ve got on it now, I have hope it’ll stay on lol

Yeah, has the goop in it. it sticks well for the most part, just a few spots that dont like it. But I think the dirt and rubbing on rocks doesnt help lol
