    Not sure of the market in California but even in this crazy market $34K is pretty high for a salvage titled truck. I’d keep looking, even out of state if I were you. EDIT : Here’s another thing to consider, check with your insurance agent about how they cover salvage vehicles.

    Hairdryer works, heat it up and get an edge started then just heat along the pull line. I removed mine the first day because my wife said “why do you want it to say turd on the side?”

    In the bed tent can be had for $75 off Craigslist, RTT cost me $1,200. Much happier with the RTT as I don’t have to remove everything from the bed to setup the tent.

    Toyota News 2023 Tacoma Announced

    The 2023 will make eight years for the Gen 3 so it’s not unreasonable for Toyota to go to Gen 4 on the 2024 model year. Time will tell.

    I’m still running the stock Goodyear Wrangler tires, (only at 32k miles) but I’ve decided to get the Falken’s next time.

    I went with Sylvannia LED’s and Diode Dynamic’s Tail as Turn module on mine. You probably will need to add resistors to eliminate hyper flash. They have run almost five years without any problems.

    One word…traction boards! Well okay that’s two words but they work. Took the wife and granddaughter up to Frog Lake Wednesday to play in the snow. Didn’t drive into any deep snow but my original Goodyear Wrangler tires with 32k miles on them did great on the snow.

    Nice video! How low do you guys air down in the sand? I’ve never gotten my off-road stuck so my traction boards are virgins. Wife and I prefer camping away from camp grounds when we don’t have our granddaughter along.

    Why do so many people prefer 4 doors vs Access cab?

    For me the choice was simple, just the wife and I these days, the proportions of the access cab looks much better than the double cab (especially with the tiny 5 foot bed tagging along behind if you don’t opt for the long bed). And it fits in my garage.
