    2021 Head Unit Slowness...

    This was after my 10 min drive home but it’s pretty much always as responsive as in this video except on start up in the mornings. I usually don’t even touch the dam thing until the truck is warmed up and I’ve pulled out of my house. So op you can compare it to how yours is working.

    I’ve been giving myself headaches these past couple weeks researching tires and it just hit me that I’m not even sure if 265/75R16 tire will fit on my stock rims. Anyone have an answer? Stock size is 245/75R16. I added a picture of my factory wheel for reference.

    I like the idea of a contest that gets more people communicating. Number of replies would definitely have to count for something in my opinion. That can give you an idea of what posts are really helpful and informative rather than people just making random posts for the sake of the contest.

    Much appreciated fellas. I’ve never even heard of xylene so I’ll definitely be looking into that before I start and I guess I’ll look more into primer once I pick out whatever bed liner spray I’ll be going with. I might send whatever company it is an email and ask them.

    Lol dam do I? 😅 The dealership never mentioned it and I never bothered to look into it. I like changing my own oil anyways so I’ll save my self a drive to a dealership.

    No you don’t have to. I have no science to back changing your oil after the break in period but I’ve always done it and I’ve tried to stay faithful to 5k mile oil changes on my past vehicles.     First oil change on my Tacoma today. Just hit 1000 miles. Thought I’d do one after the break in period and planning on doing it every 5k. Let’s see if I don’t get lazy :rolleyes:

    Break in?

    If I remember correctly, the manual says not to accelerate hard or brake hard for the first 500 miles and not to tow or drive at one constant speed up to 1000 miles. I don’t believe it gave a specific speed to stay under.

    Don’t get me wrong I loved my camaro and I grew up with riding around in my pops 79 Z28 but things weren’t looking good on mine at 75k miles. I wanted something more dependable and a hell of a lot more versatile so what better vehicle than a Tacoma :cool:

    Thanks for the input! I was thinking right along those lines. Get some rock sliders that work just as good as some traditional running boards and have the strength at the same time to handle whatever I get into in the future.
