I read something about the engine reving when you lock the steering wheel to either side and I can not remember what post it was on. I just noticed it today on my truck and I’ve been looking through the forum but I can’t seem to find it again. I don’t remember reading if it was an issue or just normal. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It is perfectly normal.

I believe it to be normal. Turning the wheel to lock puts more pressure on the pump therefore more drag on the belt so the computer makes it rev up a little. It sounded a lot better in my head before I wrote it out but that’s my 2 cents.
