    Most of the people I go out with and myself have Baofengs and either use gmrs or murs freqs. They've been rock solid...Just be careful of the laws surrounding this.

    Not sure on price, but I've seen a few of the Owl Cams on various cars around SD. I think the only draw back is it's use of the OBD port for power. https://www.owlcam.com/

    If you want to stay in the walkie world, a set of MURS radios would be good. The great thing about the BaoFeng radios is that they can do HAM, GMRS, FRS and MURS. I've used MURS freqs and PL/CTCSS codes with great performance. The PL/CTCSS codes give you a bit of privacy but you still might...

    About 2 hours total. Only crappy part for me was fishing the RCA cable down from the back of the head unit to then run through the firewall. Otherwise, it's all easy and straight forward.

    Nice! Now the only question is...are you going to just route it around and then velcro/tape to the back of console or cut through and mount that way.

    We all love to binge watch shows from time to time, so what's everybody currently watching? I just got done with "McMafia" (only 1 season), pretty solid. Just started "Berlin Station" Both on Amazon. The Motley Crue movie, The Dirt on Netflix was pretty good too.

    This happened over the past couple of days...suspension yesterday and tires today (285/75r16). Super happy with how things turned out. Might need to dial things in a bit more and haven't really pushed it to check for rubbing yet either. I think I need to change my profile pic hahaha

    Just cramming that much tire on a 7" wheel. Looking at some tire specs, 285s show a 7.5" - 9" wheel as being ideal. Right now either King or Fox, UCAs and Dakar heavy duty, resulting in about 2-2.5 inches of lift.

    Happened to me before cuz my foot was on gas and brake when I started the car to move it forward slightly. I turned it off, waited a bit and started it back up. Seemed to be fine but that scary error was still there. I researched a bit and what cleared it for me was turning the engine off...

    Trail recs for this weekend?

    I know a bunch of people are going out to Ocotillo for TDS. I'm down in the UTC area and it's usually about 2.5 hours away for me. I'm just going out for a day trip on Sat.
