• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Tyler's #VanLife on 37s Four Wheel Camper Build & Tacoma3G.com Shenanigans

Damn he’s got the color I originally tried to get, with the bumpers I originally tried to get, if it was a shortbed manual ooooo i’d be obsessed
I wish it were a manual. No idea why they don’t do longbed manual.

The whole reason I didn’t get a 4runner was because it didn’t come in manual, I’m disappointed in myself for settling with the auto but in the trucks condition now there’s no turning back ?

Had the wife talked into a 4 runner for the longest time. Buuuut she’s got a highlander coming for her birthday ?

Thank you! I’ve had a lot of haters from the no bumper look.

The build thread of the truck that inspired the creation of this forum.
A truck built to be abused and daily driven when things aren't too broken.
An excuse to never have kids and to keep spending money like I am a kid.
Tyler's "Break Shit" longbed build!

The story on how I ended up with a Taco
This is Tyler testing some alert improvements. Please ignore this.

I just spent about a day and a half completely reformatting the first post of my build thread. It was somewhat of a headache but I wanted to attempt to make it look more organized and finally update a bunch of things that were missing from it.

I still need to add some stuff that is missing and then upload a bunch of photos to catch up on how my truck looks today. Also, if you didn't know, in spring 2020 I will be living out of the truck full-time while traveling the Americas.

Take a look at the first post and let me know what you think of the new formatting: https://tacoma3g.com/threads/tyler’...north-america-wanderingwinterfields.2/#post-2

It definitely is way more organized now and a lot cleaner to read. The effort you put into it definitely shows.

Very detailed! I like how you put links to photos and wish list items on the first post. Makes it easy even for your self to remember what you researched for the truck. I might steal some of your formatting!
