• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

Mountian climbing

Can you post some details about how you rigged up the brush deflectors? Don't really want to go with a heavy full front bumper, but I wheel down a lot of small trails, and those would be helpful.

Yeah, I'm working on a video. Should be up pretty soon.

Been waiting on my bumper from Victory4x4 since January. Hopefully once it arrives it will look as good on mine as it does on yours. What winch did you put behind there?
A Warn Zeon 10s. I left the solenoid on top of the winch, just bend the brack that was in the way.

Installed the new Magnaflow overland series Exhaust.

Do you have photos of your hood mounts for your limb risers? I cracked my windshield a few weeks ago and wanna do this
Yeah, I'm going to get the video made and up this weekend. It's very DIY. I'll make sure to get some additional photos to post here though.

I replaced my front radiator support mounts today.
A quick disclaimer your front end might raise up a slight hair, and you will feel more vibrations.

Made some stainless steel limb riser mounts for the taco! Working on getting the backing plates (to reinforce the fenders sheet metal), and getting the cable lines built today!

Yeah they turned out really nice! I still need to replace the headlight bolt with a through-bolt since that plastic it threads into is super weak, but other than that im happy with how they turned out!

Im building my new drawer system too!

1/2" Baltic birch (trying to keep weight down) w/ 56" locking drawer guides that fully extend, a side pullout table that supports the stove and a wash bin, with plenty of storage organization inside. I ended up removing the small wood piece that filled the space between the drawer box and inside fender and using that to store longer items.

Ran some remote air chucks for the driver and passenger side. It was a ton of work. Should have the install video up this weekend. I came back on Sunday and covered the small section of air line you can see in the bed with some corded trans cooler line I had in the garage.
