What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

What do you guys do with your wheel Wells/fender liners?

This is what mine looks like, I had to cut it for the front bumper and then I was slightly hitting until I added a spacer on my wheeler bumps. Hopefully not hitting anymore. debating taking it off and just painting it. Hope this is not a dumb question but is that white spot on bare metal always there or did I lose something and never noticed? Haha

Mine have been gone for a very long time, front and rear, but I’m also LT and fiberglass front and rear. I taped and plastic drop cloth wrapped the truck up and then spray painted all up in there with black so it didn’t look as shitty, the liners definitely make it look cleaner, and a lot of people get fend-x liners to keep the clean look, but now that I tubbed my fronts to hell, I seam sealed my plate welds and used several coats of bedliner and it doesn’t look as shitty anymore, so I don’t miss the liner at all

Good news, the house will probably be way more comfortable with a new one. I upgraded my 20 year old one in my house, and it's SOO much nicer to be in the house during winter. I'm a little excited to test out the A/C in the Summer too.

This one was about 20urs old too. I've been remodeling a lot hopefully a new one helps with all the new insulation. Need to find a fuel oil unit. There are no gas lines out where I live

Always a bummer when you’re forced to spend money to replace something old in the house, but usually you get so used to the slow deterioration of performance the new replacements are usually really nice, welcomed improvements, so it helps to lessen the sting on the wallet... usually...

Insulation was the biggest help to me. My house didn't have any in parts of the attic, it was bad. Cut my heating bill in half.

I wish I could tell you they are way more efficient, but I haven't seen that. I'm paying roughly the same amount to keep the house at the same temp. However, I'm now working from home all day, so I imagine the extra 8-10 hours of heat would've been much more pricey.

You are absolutely correct on that. You never realize how inefficient things slowly become over time. Then something takes a crap and forces you to upgrade and the difference is night and day.

I was in the same boat. House was built in 1957 and not one exterior wall had insulation in it haha. And I live in a part of the country that sees below zero temps every winter. Back then oil was so cheap they just cranked the heat up and said said the hell with it.
 
New Taco owner and new to this site. Some must have mods just completed:
Bed liner
Truxedo X15 tonneau cover
Redarc brake controller with in dash switch (because my OCD will not let me have a blank switch)
Anytime backup camera with front camera (again because I can't have a blank switch LOL)
Toyota OEM step under the rear bumper
Seat jacks for the passenger seat because my wife said she was sitting on the floor
Tufskinz letter inserts for the glove box door
TRD Pro shift knob
Vinyl letter inserts for the shift knob
Tacoma letter inserts for the tailgate
Automatic tailgate lock from key fob
Tacoma OEM oval running board/step
Mud flaps
Bed mount bike rack
Homemade dog bed for back seat

Still some more work to do!

Welcome! That dog bed insert is pretty sick!
 
Installed a drivers grab handle today, got it here from @CentralFLTaco
Also set up the GoPro & BadElf for vehicle power
Might need to work on the BadElf mount

still waiting on Toyota to fix my Tacoma, so right now, it’s only stuff that can be removed
