Taco lean spacer install and front coilover install

So you do not need to worry about the position of the alignment cams if you are going to get an alignment anyway?
You do. Use a paint pen or sharpie to mark where they were at before you break the torque. When you go to put it back, line up your lines, but expect it to still be off until you get to the shop.

Hey Rob quick question...After installing the spacer, do you have any chatter coming from the driver side (side with spacer) while off-roading? Just curious, because I installed the spacer to correct driver side lean and torqued everything to spec, however when off-road I hear what sounds like metal to metal contact.

No noise. Look around for any rubbing.

Installing a Tacoma lean spacer is a simple way to fix the slight driver-side sag that many trucks develop over time. The process involves lifting the vehicle, removing the front strut assembly on the affected side, and placing a small spacer on top of the strut mount. Once reassembled and torqued properly, the spacer helps level the truck without significantly affecting ride quality or suspension geometry.

For a front coilover install, the process is a bit more involved but still manageable with the right tools. You’ll need to safely lift the truck, remove the wheels, disconnect components like the sway bar and upper control arm if needed, and then remove the factory struts. The new coilovers are installed in place, ensuring proper alignment and torque specs. After installation, it’s important to get a professional alignment to maintain handling, tire wear, and overall safety.
