Yeah I think they are like $70 (which is nothing for a hardbody. Walmart(new bright) typically calls their stuff like that 1/8 scale but in real hobby grade is actually 1/10.

back when the 4 door wrangler body came our they were selling like crazy, they had a fully detailed interior and removable hardtop, I saw people actually buying just the body for over $250.

So a lot of people buy these bodies up and sell them on eBay

Yeah if they keep putting out detailed bodies they have no problem selling lol. The wrangler body sold out in Walmart’s all over the country. Dudes were buying in bulk lol

Shock relocation watch on YouTube but free mod not working right. Got the lift height right rear shocks rebounds but the front doesn’t. like once press down the rear shock it’ll go back up and front doesn’t

How is the front shocks mounted? Angled?

Poo I just blew up the motor. Now I’m out of the game 30days into it new and first thing I read about it, these motors don’t last!

Shock relocation is one notch on the frame strait up and down. Same as the rear, got good clearance but, $ upgrades after upgrades need more weight Up front, just have 9.5g on each wheel for now. Now got to buy $6 motor and take time do assemble

I love the price of upgrades/ parts for 1/24th lol. I usually do the same and buy a few of each so I have spares.

You should have grabbed an ARRMA instead! They are much more reliable. Slashes are nice and I’ve had many but once I switched to an arrma I’m not going back! Best thing you can do is beef up the trans. on the slash

I would go arrma. But I’m a Traxxas fan. Slowly but surely I’ll get my 2wd rustler do 100+ mph, already hit 74 tops. The Slash is going be converted over into a drag car. Already got the LCG chassis for it. Stampede is more a family basher, and the rustler VXL 4x4 is my out of control speed basher!

Oh that’ll be sweet! I did the fast thing for a bit but man, hitting a piece of rock at high speed is nuts! I lost a tire on a speed car I had and it threw me into a curb, destroyed lol

I’d be interested in seeing that drag setup!

haha i like it! It bunny hops definitely more like a stampede 4x4. But better. More power and torque. fun but price tag is too much. Luckily I got the display model so got a little discount from the hobby store!

Got me a TRX4, Had an scx10 OG and well i sold it a few months back and wanted to get back into the hobby so i sent it!
Decided to go with Traxxass to kind of see what the hype about the trx4 was and i must say i am very impressed. Knew about the top heaviness of the truck, didnt believe it till i used it, instantly ordered portal covers, wheels and tires, and some brake rotor weight things that im still waiting for.

Servo kinda sucked so i also ordered an upgrade for that.

As for speeeeed, I had a rustler vxl and sold it to buy a 4x4 and never ended up buying it so i am in the market for one lol.

When I got my 35s I ordered them in bed next to my sleeping wife and then at some point the following day I told her I made an oopsie but it’s a cool oopsie. She doesn’t care much though, she thinks the truck stuff is cool.

Thats awesome, My girlfrend doesnt really care but i did get new tires 6-7 months ago so itd be kind of sus, right now im saving up to build a work space in my garage where i can pretty much do anything. welding all the things in my own garage, The idea is to spend $0 on labor and pretty much learn new skills like welding and fabricating
