I mean... you're not wrong lmfaoI’m sure it’s still way better then a ridgeline or Santa Cruz
That truck got a fat ass.
You could also go with the current gen Nissan Frontier since it looks 99% like a gen3 Taco and they'll be making it for 20 years because Nissan.Big pass... I'll move to the new 4runner or bronco or something else before I bought that body style Tacoma, that's a big disappointment if that's an accurate rendering
Yea but then you can't do Taco things and will be made fun of, cause NissanYou could also go with the current gen Nissan Frontier since it looks 99% like a gen3 Taco and they'll be making it for 20 years because Nissan.
Tbh, I don't like the Colorado or Canyon's.. I've seen some decent builds on them just, eh. I'd go big or go home at that point and get a Denali 2500 HD at that pointI think I'd buy a diesel Colorado/Canyon before I picked up the new yota. Local guy had a super nice one for sale recently and it looked pretty rowdy.
Right! Also if you wanna get bigger tires for it then you gonna have to do some trimming to the fendersBut why do the bed sides need to come down so far around the wheels?? Those are getting chopped off by anyone who needs to use that truck.
I went from a 2020 Power Wagon to this. If the circumstances would have stayed the way they were. When I took delivery of my PowerWagon. I would still have it. I loved that Truck. But I learned to love this one. "Different Trucks, Different qualities"Tbh, I don't like the Colorado or Canyon's.. I've seen some decent builds on them just, eh. For good or Bad. These Trucks were Americanized as soon as they put the 1st. Tacoma Name Plate on their 1st. Truck.. While North America Drives Tacoma's . The Rest of the World Still Drives the Hi Lux. My 1st. Gen was built in Fremont California. This one in Mexico. Some others in Texas. Not a big fan. I believe toyota hired a GM designer to "americanise" the trucks, theres alot of similar points between the new tundra and a GMC sierra.
Im guessing toyota is keeping a similar design for all the suvs and trucks
IMO: The Stick is a huge help. I know a lot of people don't like them. They're not for everybody. And it still doesn't take care of the Fundamental Problem. This V6 suffers from. All of the Torque is too high up in the RPM Range. Great for Sports Cars, Sucks for Trucks. I wish we could do a Cam Swap in these, like we could in the Big 3 V8's. The Right Cam. Is all it would take.If they drop the 3.5L turbo into it that I've got in my LX600, I'll buy one. Any engine/tranny improvement over the current 3.5v6 would be welcome.
Totally agree. Pondering a supercharger in the future. Going to get out of warranty first...or maybe just upgrade to a 4th gen after a bit.IMO: The Stick is a huge help. And a Turbo would be Nice .
