2021 w/ Icon Stage 1, UCA’s, AAL, 285/75/16

Picked up a 2021 Cement gray Limited last month and added an Icon Stage 1 kit. Coilover preload measure at 1.25 and I’m getting some decent rub with 285/75/16. I’m waiting for a spanner wrench to adjust them
Higher. Not sure how much it will help as I’m hitting the cab mount significantly.

the alignment shop would not max out Caster like I asked because they said the alignment wouldn’t be good. So I think I need to get the caster maxed and then adjust the coilovers. Assuming that will make the rub more tolerable.

It rides excellent as long as I’m not turning haha. Scheduled a cab mount relocate but earliest they can do is October so I may have to put the stock wheels and tires back on.

Is it rubbing on the cab mount and in that area? Go ahead and fold the pinch weld under the liners.

was your lift, just 2 inches, if that's the case, yes, the pinch weld needs to go immediately. That seems like an awful long wait to get into a shop for a cmc. but if their good, it will be worth the wait. I have seen some butcher jobs out there.

I think I can get 2.5" out off. The coilovers definitely have room to increase height. Thanks for the guidance. Ill be squaring away the pinch weld this weekend.

3lb Drilling Hammer, wrap that up with a towel. Little heat and go slow. You can fold it over without cutting it. Then spray with bed liner or undercoating.
You'll probably also want to trim the bottom of the fenders and where the pinch weld meets the fender. You'll have to remove the mudguards if you have them. Also bend this up. Make nice fold and up. I'll post a pic of mine when I get out of here.
Some people just cut the whole thing out and line the styrofoam then make their own liners.
1/16" rubber or abs. This should be good.

Recut the whole thing out to cover everything, tuck it in, drill some holes and grab new retainer clips. Just don't drill too far in. Use tape or a drill collar.
That's what I need to do. I just keep putting it off. I actually have a office binder clip holding my fender liner in place so it doesn't rub.

I’ve done a little trimming so far and can hopefully finish up tomorrow if the weather gets better. It’s been pouring like crazy here in Mass.

I don't recommend banging on the sharp edge down there. Just use pliers to flatten it out and then fold. If you hit it with the hammer it'll push that panel out of line. If you trim the fender liner, you'll be cutting off the far hole. Cut it wide and long. Also I cut a slit near the one to be able to tuck the liner a little to keep it secure. Probably just gonna do the liners.

Even after trimming, the fender liner is what still gets caught and bent. I just can't seem to get it flat and out of the way because of all the curves.
