Where are you at?

I'm in North Texas. DFW area. I don't know of much trails around here.... But I have plans to do Rimrocker Trail next summer once I get the truck outfitted!

I’ll just load the little sequence of this obstacle.
‘Rock pile’ on Chinamens Gulch BV, Colorado. It’s a pretty big climb. Wife’s first trip to the trail and obviously on that line. She did ‘turtle’ in the middle due to wheelbase. Just pushed her rear bumper by hand and she was able to drive out.

That makes me cringe.

Gentleman, I couldn't find a thread dedicated to places you've gone off-roading, so I started one. If I missed it, then let me know and I will correct.

Last weekend I went to San Rafael Swell with three other 1st Gens and completed an epic adventure. Only suffered cosmetic damage, so no real worries. Fortunately, I was with two other hard core off-road enthusiasts. Otherwise, I may have been stranded there. The three trails we did were Black Dragon, Devils Racetrack and Fix-it Pass.

Enjoy!

Holy moses, what a day. Was a nearly 7 hour run to Imogene summit and back. Playing guides for Blake Wilkey and crew. You might know him from a video called urban assault back in the day. They are currently traveling the US getting content for a short series of tv shows next year. Their stop today was Ouray. Based off desires content, traffic, access, etc - we decided Imogene was a good choice.
We started off with a solid pre run meeting with talks of STT/tl, right of way, public access through private land, necessity to stay off tundra and plant life. There was another local rep who gave some info that led to a pic you’ll see later. They deemed it ok. I recommended against it for sake of not wanting backlash, and the crew was super cool about making adjustments to keep on the cool side of attention. Overall was super pumped to work with the guys for the day and help them sort out where to get content and what shots really sets views apart. We lost two drones, ended shooting with a borrowed one from random keeper in a scrambler we ran in to. Blake let my buddies son ride with him in the buggy all day which left that kid beaming from ear to ear. Jeep is a $300 Xj with no working 4wd, so getting it up there was a challenge and super exciting.
Imogene looked clear up top on telluride side, so I imagine they will go ahead and open it tomorrow. Anyway. Pics of the nonsense BTS.

Have some other small stuff, have to see what’s allowed to be shown or not. Fun day all around. House is packed with all the guys and their gear before they head off to Moab. Neighbors have to love the giant tow rig in front of house

Thanks for sharing. That whole rig is awesome. The boat is ridiculous!
Definitely a bad ass setup. Blake was trying to talk my wife into building one while they were here last night. She’s bad enough about wanting a boat. Then he takes her side and made it worse! Headed to more filming with them tomorrow, hopefully no more boat talk :sneaky:

Blake asked us to join them in Moab for some more filming. Little bit of wheeling, little bit of some dunes.
They wanted to incorporate my wife into the video so she spent a solid 4 hours riding around in the bug at the dunes. Super long day, but a great time.
