• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

man I love all these rigs and trails! nice shots all!

Took a road trip over the last 24 hours, first to Crane Pond (just North and 6-7 clicks east of Schroon Lake, NY), did a little fishing and camping, then went up to the Freedly Quarry in Dorset, VT. ‘Twas a fine day, and my little guy hung in there for such a bunch of driving and activity. He’s only 3.

There are a couple truck shots down below :) I did take the Tacoma.

And I have to say, totally surprised by how capable the trd pro suspension is. Expected to have a lot more limitations after wheeling with my JLUR with 37’s. Tacoma never skipped a beat, didn’t even scrape or high center on anything.

Some photos from out trip to Dixie Valley Nevada. We tried (briefly) to get up Steamshovel Trail, but it was more than we could do with our stock Taco and the trailer. Turning around was a small challenge. We ended up hiking up to the main attraction on the trail.

Cheers,

-M
