Sangi's Build Tread

I hear ya. I’m thinking of attempting to wrap my side mirrors. That’s about the extent I’m willing to go at this point. 😂
I say try it yourself! From what I hear its not particularly hard per se, it just requires patience and time. The colors parts of the mirrors pop off easy, and you wouldn't use a lot of wrao material.

Do it yourself. I did my hood just recently, worked out great. Need a heat gun, spray bottle with water and a drop of dish soap, and a little patience...and willingness to put up with a little crows foot here and there.

Very nice. Feel durable? Walnut or branch dropping going to send it to the solar panel grave?
Seems nice and durable. I was being super careful with moving it around and during installation. But the covering of the cells seems like it'll hold for a while.

Whole bunch of meso goodies the other day! Map lights v2 (dual color), handle covers and a gasshole! Also mounted my maxxtraxx to the side of the cbi, finally. I liked them on the roof, but they had to come down for the solar panel.

Installed @ragofabrication console molle panels the other day. Finally got a good looking mount for my CB. (It was on a ram cell phone mount that bolted into the passenger seat). Solid, easy to install and looks fantastic!

Installed a dashcam, finally! One of the mods that's been on my list for years. Also picked up a used and bruised relentless fabrication front skidplate for a deal I couldn't pass up. And ordered my expedition essentials dual arb cubby mount for the bed!

Fun little weekend. It was nice enough outside (tropical 36) so I was able to get some much needed tlc done to the truck. Needed some motivation
-Removed seats and did a nice interior detail
20210308_125206.jpg
-Took apart my center console and scrubbed it down good.
20210308_111344.jpg
-changed Cabin air filter
20210307_131359.jpg
-swapped my air filter to a pro filter
20210307_132631.jpg
-new reverse lights from diesel leds. Shits bright af, I love it
20210308_135353.jpg
-Also rotated my tires and filled them up to proper air.
All in all, even this little bit made me feel awesome after a rough winter and being very unmotivated. I have a huge list of tlc, mods and cleaning I wanna do when it gets warmer out. Even if it was placebo, the truck is driving much better!

Edit: damn just noticed my trucks got the taco lean haaaard in that last pic. Gotta add that to the list of shit to fix.

Slow and steady updates. Put on new Falken wildpeaks (285/70/17s), fixed my dual compressor that's been giving me some issues, and in the process of switching out all my speakers for kickers.
Also in the process of planning/setting up my entire solar setup, along with a second battery and I'm going to customize a wiring harness for all my auxiliary systems.

Also went on my first real winter camping trip. Was down in the teens, didn't think I was prepared enough but I made it through alive. As much as I love my Yakima skyrise, it's definitely not a winter tent.
