I’ve been a vanlifer in the past and building and selling sprinters vans is actually my current full time profession because I love doing it so much. I just bought a built 2016 TRD Sport and I’m looking to make it my own with some overland modifications. I’ll update this tread as the build progresses!

Currently I’m looking for a vagabond drifter for sale. Does anybody know someone with one for sale? Or a spot in line for sale. Searching high and low before I hop in line myself and wait a year plus! Thanks guys!

Yea I honestly was a little bummed cause I always imagined myself starting from scratch with a build, but this has pretty much everything I wanted for way cheaper than I ever could have built it for. So couldn’t pass it up!

Here’s the current build in progress. It’s got a convertible bench seat/bed platform, full powder coated aluminum shower. I just got the two aluminum grey water tanks mounted underneath. One is 13 gallons, the other 20 gallons. They have motorized ball valves on them so push button dumping. Electrical is all Victron energy components including 3000 watt inverter, 30 amp DC to DC Charger, 50 amp mppt solar charge controller paired with 300 Amp hours of Relion Lithium battery capacity. I’m hoping to finish the build in the next couple weeks, will have to post an update with the finished product!

You build the vans new and then sell or build customer vans? Asking because I’ve been in the market for one.

The current one is a custom client design, but I'm not planning on allowing as much customization in the future. I will be building a 144 wheel base sprinter next as a flip van next (it's already sitting in my driveway) which I plan to use as a version 1 of my "spec" build design. After I get the bugs worked out of that design I will start offering it with minor customizations allowed (meaning no major layout customizations).
