The King of the Hammers, is a race unlike any other. It's considered the "toughest one day off road race in the world." It is the cornerstone of a week long off road festival in Johnson Valley, California. The race has evolved from 12 teams racing for bragging rights and a case of beer, to more than 300 teams competing before more than 60,000 spectators while millions more watch online! These cars come in all shapes and sizes and are capable of speeds over 100+ MPH and still contain gear ratios as low as 100 to 1 for technical rock crawling.
