DIY Fuse Panel

I liked the clean look of the aftermarket underhood fuse panels but couldn't justify the cost that some are charging for it so I made my own from clear acrylic sheet.

Started with an 18"x24" acrylic panel from Home Depot

I cut off a 9"x12" piece and used a heat gun, vise, and a couple of plywood scraps to bend the acrylic 90*

Then I laid out the fuse panel & distribution block in Sharpie

Drilled the holes out and trimmed the piece to around the other components under the hood.

Before mounting under the hood -

Mounted using two existing tapped bolt holes under the hood -

Mine was much simpler, using a ski strap and a plastic husky box. I used Anderson connectors for the positive and negative cables so it can be easily disconnected for fuse box access:
