Ok, so I just ordered my blue sea systems below deck panel with voltage and 12v socket. I will be installing it in my bed so I can run my fridge. There is a 15amp fuse in the panel itself, I am wondering what inline fuse I should run at the battery???

:::EDIT:::
Called blue sea systems and they recommend 20-30 amp inline fuse on 10gauge wire. I will be doing a write up on this install when completed.

In the box with the panel, came 2 different templates, I just measured out and taped one of them down. Used a dremel to cut the line out and used some sand paper to clean it up. This is just one of the two templates they provide you, for reference of course.

Still waiting on the wire and the volt meter and then I will be installing and taking more pics.

coming along good. putting my panel in the same place, problem is I have the Mobtown steel doors and not enough people I know w/ a drill press to get through them!

Nice work! I installed one of these about a year and a half ago and it's been such a handy addition to the truck

Do you really need a press? Just do a large pilot hole and use a jigsaw to finish it off, clean it all up with a file (y)

Used 22ft of wire but it is complete. The voltage meter reads about .4V difference from the battery. A little loss but not that significant. I guess if anything it will kind of be a fail safe feature lol.
