• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Vendor Review... Customer battle with CBi

Really? That came from Kenny? Hard to believe. He responded through the 'other forum' and not only had my shipping updated but they are offering to refund all shipping costs (this is almost 250$!). I am rather impressed with their service.... once 1800 views, 150+ responses over two separate...

Vendor Review... Customer battle with CBi

UPDATE: -Kenny has on the order that they are cut and in-production, so he will be calling back to find out if they are actually finished or when they will be for me. As of now they may be: --1: In Pieces waiting to be welded --2: Welded and awaiting Shipping (lets hope for this one) I feel...

    Washington state roll call

I am in Whidbey now, and love it. Island life will take some adjustment. But if you love hiking, camping, (clearly) 4x4ing, and anything other than clubs and nightlife...this is the sweet spot for you!

Vendor Review... Customer battle with CBi

-from checking other forums, I see that I am not the only one experiencing issues with them. Most have cancelled their orders after 6-months of waiting on skids, sliders, and bumpers.

Vendor Review... Customer battle with CBi

Tacoma3g Members, As some have seen on here I have been eagerly awaiting the fulfillment of an order made from CBi for Rock sliders that were placed in September of 2018. Since we don't have a vendor review section, I feel this would be the best place to post.. Here's the short story that I...

    Slider Cost Comparison

Still waiting on my shipment from CBi, about a month overdue past invoice... so maybe something else to take into consideration is the actual 'return-on-promise' for these companies too. I will keep updates to post a full review of the whole process from ordering, tracking, receiving, and the...

    Slider Cost Comparison

Finally pulled the trigger and have a set of CBi on order. I wish more disturbers were willing to ship ups/fedex by splitting shipments, It really makes a difference for those of us that live on an island and can't access freight sites unless we drive a few hours... just food for thought!

    Slider Cost Comparison

great information, got me locked into a set of CBi Offroad Set for CallistoTRD. I have so far been very impressed with their customer service, and updates. Plus they ship UPS which really helps those of us that live on an island and have a hard time accepting freight.

    Callisto TRD Build Thread

Testing out the Stock build out at Samish Overlook at some of the rough bypass routes... pretty impresed with her 'no-mod' prowess! (For reference, I was solo that day, and the photo was taken on a well groomed pull out.)

    Callisto TRD Build Thread

First off... this may take a while.... Intro to Build: I have dreamt of owning a TRD Tacoma since my early teens (now in my 30's), had a rough experience with a Yota Pick-Up, traded for a 4Runner that I wheeled the piss out of from 167,000-270,000 miles where I sold her before moving again to...

New Owner 2018 TRD OffRoad --PNW

New to the Tacoma scene... Not to the Brand. It feels great to be back and I am already starving to put some miles, smiles, and adventure under these tires! New at 54miles... Still more range on the tank than miles on the motor... Let's change that. Any PNW (Whidbey Island area) owners?!
