• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

    Ironman 3" lift

Great idea, I'll do a 1 year review, it'll give me a chance to sress test the suspension. One immediate benefit I did note was handling. The handling of the taco improved 10X, even though the CG was lifted - better than expected.

    Ironman 3" lift

One key point I forgot is that, the sheet metal in the wheel well interferes with the removal of the long UCA bolt - but everyone who changes the UCA on a taco faces the same issue - regardless of the kit purchased. I was able to bend it to clear the removal of the bolt (Ironman vidoe covers...

    Ironman 3" lift

Completed the Stsge 2 ironman 3" lift myself. - Ovaer all - good quality, satisfactory result. - Ironman's coils and leaf's are produced by Toyo - about as good as you can get. - UCA quality - forged alu. Very good. - Assembly went well for a novice. - A couple of misses: the New UCA requires a...

Ironman 3" lift went very well.

Ironman 3" stage 2 nitro lift kit - overall quality- very good - UCA quality - forged - nice UCAs - Springs - they appear to use Toyo coils and leaf packs - quality is excellent. - Installation instructions and videos OK, could be improved. - To do it again, I would have the shocks...

    Lift kit

Here's a link to a good article on 33" tires and suspensions - it appears to be well thought out. https://trailtacoma.com/2021/03/25/33-inch-tires-285-70r17-toyota-tacoma-complete-guide/ Good luck on your lift.

    Lift kit

Hi, I am the same point. I'm going with Ironman stage 2 lift kit with the standard nitro shocks. Like you the question I have is which tire - since some tires are slightly less than 33" and some slightly more. Examples: (2) sizes of Nitto Ridge Grapplers with different heights: (I'm keeping...

Pacific New Ironman lift for sale

Hi Kris, Thanks for the response: The XP is a mostly cosmetic package for the Southeast Toyota dealers. Almost like buying a Pro - but no great suspension. Other members and forums indicated that the XP suspension should be standard Tacoma. I'm sincerely interested in purchasing your Iron...

Pacific New Ironman lift for sale

Hi Kris, What is the designed lift with this kit? I noted the Iron Man web page has 3 different lifts and load ratings - which is your kit? Will it fit a 2021 offroad X series Tacoma - I was told by Rough Country that the X series trucks have differences in the front suspension and that my...

New Taco Owner Questions: I have a 21 off road XP (A Southeast Toyota Edition) and I'm shopping for the right lift kit for a 3.0" to 3.5" lift.

I contacted Rough Country (RC) and they indicated that the X Series has some special mods to the control arms etc., and that their kits will not work with the X series trucks. Does anyone understand the X series MODS they are referring to and what the limitations are? Is there a good turn key...
