    I have a pretty small trailer and it is a pain to back up. Longer trailers are much easier. One tip I would suggest: know your jackknife point. IOW, how far can you "kink" the trailer without doing damage to it or your tow vehicle.

    I'm no expert but for the handful of things you mention I think SwitchPro is overkill, not to mention $$$. If you want such a system you might consider the Trigger 4 wireless setup. Also, I defer to others but I think you want the winch wired directly.

    Yes, but I also have a battery pack to run it away from the truck. Or I can plug the battery pack into the 110V outlet seen below, plug the fridge into the battery pack and the battery stays charged when driving. When stopped the refrig runs from the battery pack, not the truck battery.

    ARB Dual is what the cool kids like but I prefer Viair compressors. Yankum ropes are good value. Get a decent, long handled shovel from Home Depot or the like and a tire plug kit from any auto parts store.

    I recently wired the lights in my Victory 4X4 rock sliders. They are on a switch in the cab. However, I think it would be neat to wire them into the dome light circuit so that they come on when you open the door or unlock the truck. Where is the easiest place to tap into that circuit?
