Long story short:
I bought a brand new 18 TRD OR, traded it for a 2020 Sierra (which was a massive piece of shit and broke down on a move across country), sold that, and then bought a VW GTI.
The GTI was fun, but I was tired of driving a manual, especially waiting in line to get on base. Sold...
All my hobbies slowly vanished as I had kids. haha.
Now I just focus on putting them on the right path, spend money on them, yell at them for fucking my stuff up, and try to teach them to take care of their own shit.
My dad was a hard ass, a Marine, and always told my brothers and I, "kids and...
Dude, I call total bullshit on that review. Lol
I (almost) never go back on my word but, I am on this one.
I drove around with the wife and kids for awhile after my last post, with windows down, and now we all agree it has to come off. The honeymoon is over.
Not saying the MBRP is a bad set...
I really think it’s just the shock from going from a super quiet to a pronounced exhaust note.
It’s 100 degrees here, so I’ve driven with the windows up and down.
Windows up isn’t bad.
Cruising at 55-60, you don’t even really notice it, which really surprised me.
My kids and wife say it...
My MBRP will be arriving tomorrow. I decided to take a chance after seeing @Rob Daman 's video (as well as other on youtube).
I searched for a TRD Pro exhaust but, just didn't feel like spending all that extra money. lol....
I wish I could hear a Black Widow exhaust setup in person.
Got my TRD Pro wheels (16”) installed.
Also received my Faux Pro grille from eBay. I blacked out the gray letters and it looks awesome.
I bought the TRD Pro TSS cable for the radar (it’s longer) for $20 and the garnish, which is definitely the most expensive piece of plastic I’ve bought.
thanks for the comments @mZiggy and @Rob Daman
I did take into consideration that this is not a "lift" upgrade (which I'm actually ok with).
At this time I'm looking for a better ride (body roll, dipping, etc).
Of course I'd try to get them cheaper!
