Yay or Nay?
Falken ATW3
well long story short I got a set of 5 for free!
All 4 are Tires are about 14 or 15/32. New are about 19/32nd
Size is 315/70-17 E load
Current tires I’ve got are 285/75-17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I was looking into AT tires. Huge step up. But free! I light trail weekends and daily to work. No worries I already trimmed a lot, cmc, and SPC UCA caster 3.5+ forward. 17x9 -38 ray10s

Lmk what ur thoughts are! 2nd choice of tires off topic were yoko g003 MT.

Looks like yay to me.
I've got the smaller version.
Been running them for years and I like them.

I say Yay if Made In USA.
FYI - The Falken Wildpeaks I run on my truck are Made In USA
The Falkens My wife runs on her Honda CRV (smaller tire) are made In Thailand

Go Figure

Love my Wildpeaks but I've heard mixed reviews. People either love them or can't get them to balance and hate them haha

But yeah with 315s you'll likely have rubbing regardless of how much you cut 😂 they'll look badass though!

I had Wildpeaks on my Jeep when they first came out. They were a very good tire for me in 315/70R17. They wore well, and were good in everything except thick mud. I would defiantly consider getting a set for my Tacoma when it is time. My main concern is the weight of the tire. I want to keep my performance as good as possible without having to re-gear, so I am looking at SL and C load range tires. Wish there were more choices in C load range with a 16 inch rim.

No rubbing on the daily street so I’m golden! Itll for sure rub offroad, I did a flex test it’s barely touching my existing cmc. Plan is to do a wheel alignment currently castered at 3.5 degrees. I could max out 4 degrees on SPC UCA and get another aggressive chop
