Will a 33" Spare Time Fit under 2020 Tacoma?

The title says it all. I bought 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers for my 2020 Off Road and want to replace the stock spare with the same tire. Will it fit?

The difference is almost 33" and almost 34".

short answer is yes. depending on the exact tire size you may have to do some snipping or griding.

A true 33? My untrue 33 (32.8) fit, I did hammer back a tab for better fit.. it’s snug.. it’s touching the exhaust hanger (rubber) but has been there 8 months with zero sign of exhaust melting anything.. probably 1.5” gap between the exhaust shield and the tire. I’m content with it and happy to have it out of the bed. Anything will fit if you have a hammer and time.
