Wilco Tiregate Prerunner

Does anyone here have any experience with this Wilco product? I am trying to get my spare tire out of the bed of the truck so I have more space for camping gear, but I don’t want to spend 3,000 bucks and have to do cutting and grinding to get it done.

I was eyeing the vertical mount tire gate they make myself. Never seen anyone with one of them for input though
