• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Well, first, thanks for having us on the board and checking us out. Here’s a bit of our story, and how WarFabInc came about:
Warfab itself is a play on words for what we do and where we came from. Being from a very military family, we grew up hearing the names, and seeing the ‘toys’ around base. As we got older, it was more than just family, but friends too who put on the uniform. We thought what better way to pay homage to that, than to use the same lingo as we grew up around. West-slope Armor & Recovery fabrication is the result of two brothers hating whats offered to people as acceptable bolt on gear. Wanting to step away from the bulky full of nonsense trends in the market currently, we decided we could do it better, but needed to do it right. Mike fits more of the creative side of things. Wheeling a variety of rigs in different terrains and levels of trails, Mike has banged, bruised, and flopped his way around obstacles, learning what works, what doesn’t, and whats a pain to fix on the trail. Brian is definitely the sense and brains of things. Great with CAD, and a certified welder, Brian makes Mike’s ideas come to life. Working with family isn’t as bad as it sounds. Both have pretty tough skin, and the ability to be blunt and honest creates a great sense of accountability in the process. talking about work at home isn’t as frowned upon, plus its a great excuse to get out on a trail and see how new designs and ideas are working out.
We are located in Montrose, Colorado, centered between an amazing variety of trails and conditions. We get to wheel very scenic and high altitude trails of Ouray, Colorado, as well as the super rocky and more technical trails of Buena Vista, Montrose, and Grand Junction. Plus, Moab is just around the corner. This is great because we get to test ideas for easy day use, exploring, and camping situations. Then we can turn around and beat on parts to make sure they hold up tp the abuse. Our style definitely fits the latter of the two. While most of the market seems to be focused on the typical idea of newer Toyota expedition style gear, we know first hand how well Tacomas can do in the rocks, and feel there is a gap for products that fit that use.
We love to go out and wheel, so if you come our way and want to have a tag along, or someone local to camp and wheel with, let us know. Of course if you have any questions, please let us know. On here, or our email westslopewheeling@gmail.com
