• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Just bought my first Taco and have been lurking around here for a bit. I really appreciate the group and all the valuable info I've found here. I haven't done much to her yet but the list is long... very long. I've owned Toyota trucks in the past but it's been awhile. Looking forward to getting my '19 ready for the trail! I'll update mods and photos here.

First mods were tint and window visors. Wheels and lift were ordered but was still waiting for the wheels to arrive.

Welcome!! Great looking truck. Love the stance. What lift are you running??

Welcome! truck looks good, got a set of Method wheels as well and love them. What is next??

Thanks! Honestly I'm having a hard time deciding between OVT/exhaust/intake or front and rear bumpers and winch. Almost got stuck in about 18" of heavy snow today though so maybe leaning towards the recovery side of things.

Why not do both!

Ordered some new Taco toppings last night. Nothing crazy but some goodies. Rago low profile ditch light brackets and bed stiffeners, Meso Gasshole and coin tray, and this cheap center console organizer off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H28GQJQ/?tag=tacoma3g-20

Which ditch lights should I get? I am leaning towards Baja Designs amber ditch lights and fog light replacements.

I went with KC flex dual ditch lights, they are crazy bright. Was going to do Baja for fogs here soon.

Thank you!
Right now, just a 3" ReadyLift kit I installed for under $500 while I wait to get a long travel kit.
how does the truck ride and did you get it to align?

i had this kit for my 2012 and debating on getting it again. it was a rough ride and the trucked seemed to pull even after an alignment. might hold off and get billsteins.

It rides pretty rough but the alignment is good. I would not recommend it as a permanent lift. I plan on getting a long travel kit installed but knew it would be a year so installed it as a temp lift to fit my tires.

Been awhile... It's been a busy summer. I've made a few small additions to the Tacoma. And have a few more in the garage ready to install.

Finally installed my Rago Fabrications Rock Sliders

New Prinsu Design Cab Rack installed. Side note... if you decide to go the drill method instead of the cut method on the weather stripping, don't drill exactly center as the bar inside will interfere. I found that having the center of my spade bit go through just inside(towards the cab) of the center bar made for a perfect alignment of cab bolts. Hope that makes sense.
