Just bought this '20 TRD sport after getting my '18 totaled. I noticed these brackets in the bed after the fact and I'm curious if anyone recognizes the type of bed divider or whatever these were used for.

That looks 100% homemade. I've never seen brackets like that before.

It looks like some type of bed divider. You could probably put a 1x4 or 1x6 in it to section off your truck bed.

My 04 taco had them molded into the bedliner, sized for 2x lumber. I took treated plywood, bolted down blockheads in a taggered pattern to carry 4 bicycles. It had 2 2x4 tabs that slipped into the slots to keep things from moving around. It was pretty slick even if I say so myself

That or standard 3/4" ply. I'll measure the width next time I'm in there.

7/8" gap. Yeah 3/4 ply or 1x would work in there.
