I got the Viair Dual 444c compressor kit as a Christmas present and plan on adding a 3 gallon tank. The issue I'm having is where to locate it. I still have the spare tire in the stock location so for now that spot is out of the question. Looking for Ideas on (not going open myself up and to ask where) a good location to install the compressors and tank.

Be kind on the jokes. :)

I'm in for tank mounting ideas, although I think mine's a 2gal. The guy I got it from said he mounted it with little room to spare between the bed and fender somehow but that seems like a huge pain. Is yours a pancake or linear?

Linear.

What about the front underside of the bed?

This is a picture I took for the noodle but it shows some space there. I haven't test fit mine yet but that will be my first try.

Following for my dual 380c install. I'm planning on 10 gallons total (twin 5 gallon tanks) on the front of the bed. I bought a MOLLE panel from Victory4x4 with a gifted gift card.

Here are some shots of underneath my truck. First two are between muffler and bed, the last two are up the rear bedside from below.

Although it'd mean drilling the bed, I like the spot underneath the front, but I haven't test fit the tank yet. I don't see another hidden option than those two, though.

Edit: I just measured and it looks to be about 8" between the muffler and bed. Not a lot. My little tank will clear but it's a bit close for comfort. This is with stock exhaust, though. What are you tank's dimensions?

I haven't ordered it yet. I'm waiting until I find a suitable location.
