Help! Timing Cover Leak?

Heard about some 3rd gens having the issue so decided to take a look.

2017 Taco Sport 4x4 just shy of 72k miles - zero issues and all maintenance done at dealer due to having the 75k Platinum extended warranty. Thoughts on pics below. Getting state inspection done Saturday so will ask the tech to take a look at the area.

@72k with a 75k Platinum warranty I would get that truck into the dealer ASAP so you can have the leak at least documented at that mileage. That way you can schedule the work to get done soon, but not be out of warranty. You paid for the warranty, might as well get the use out of it.

Update: Dealer confirmed Power Steering Pump Leak - no visible signs of timing cover leak but will dye it to be safe. Covered under Platinum Warranty. Should have it back by Wed/Thu

Also checking to see if the gas cover is covered under the Platinum as it doesn't sit right anymore and wont close properly - worth asking

Yea dealer was pretty supportive (should be I think since I've bought 3 Toyotas from them) They also did the frame inspection and it passed but said my VIN doesn't qualify for the CRC spray - overall happy with the outcome
