• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Thanks for the add!!! My rig Pedro:)

Just wanted to say hello from WV. Tyler just added me a few moments ago. Thank you!!! I have a DCLB quicksand I’ve been slowly building my ultimate hunting, fishing and camping rig over the past two years. So far I’ve added a Leer 100XR cap, Bilstein 6112/5160 and Dakar lift, 17” Method NV wheels and 265/70-17 BFG KO2’s, knockoff pro grille, Cali raised ditch lights and rear mount with work light, Cali raised bed stiffeners, OEM cab racks, Hondo cell mount. I may be adding a CBI hidden winch mount with winch soon and some black fender flares. It’s pretty much finished and I’ve had a blast with it. I’ve had it out west the past two years for a total of 11,000 miles. Been to UT,AZ,CO,NM,WY,SD and every state between there and WV. I’m also on YouTube and IG under WV Outdoorsman. I share a lot of my road trips to National Parks and outdoor adventures hunting, fishing and camping.

welcome to the forum man! great looking rig

How does the Tacoma pull the trailer and what size is it?

It does great on flat terrain and rolling hills but ya gotta drop to 3rd on steep grades. I’ve pulled to the Adirondacks in NY over to Buffalo and back to WV and it done great. It’s a pretty good match. The camper is only 2800lbs dry weight. I’m probably around 3500 to 4000lbs loaded . With two adults and gear.

Thanks, looking at the same setup?

Your welcome I wouldn’t hesitate to go that route again. We love our Winnebago. I like to hammock camp and camp in my truck cap as well. But it’s nice when the wife wants to go. Gotta admit a nice hot shower is nice too? Here’s a couple better pic of the camper.
