Start Truck w/ no Smart Key?

While at work the smart key fell off of the key which was on a carabiner on my belt. Is it possible to start my truck with the mechanical key only? If not, I live at work now and I am pissed at Toyota...

Can't really be upset with Toyota. You chose pocket space over security. You'll still need the smart key unit.
With just the key I think you can only lock/unlock and get it out of drive.
