I think we all have an understanding of the nature of stock Tacoma brakes- mediocre. Bad even, when Tacomas are a bit heavy like mine when carrying moto on back, camping gear, whatnot.
For this and my last Tacoma, I switched to these rotors which at least avoid warping like the stock rotors. I have found few pads better than the OEM, however.
The next step I'm considering is stainless steel brake lines, in front at least. I'm not concerned about accommodating huge lifts, I just wonder if the stainless braided lines will offer better braking performance.
Anyone out there who has done this?
