Went exploring on the southeast side of the south holston lake. Lovely afternoon. Found the holston fire tower, climbed it. A little rickety. Trauma data ringing through my head as I climbed it..."50% chance of dying if you fall 20 ft, and this thing is about 200ft tall and a bit wobbly..." 😳

Love old towers. We have one we used to party at when I was in HS. They have since closed it cause jackasses starting tearing up the steps. Can’t even get on it anymore. Such a shame.
