Getting my KB Voodoo Max Modular bed rack set up Tuesday and mounting my RTT. Got the hi-lift brackets for the passenger side. Trying to get ideas and see how others are using their KB Voodoo racks. Awnings? Maxtrax? Rotopax? What do you got?

Nice! Did you mount anything else on it? What brackets did you use for the jack?
AZ_CAVALRY AZ_CAVALRY for the hi-lift I used the 4x rack mount which is just the hi-lift brand accessorie. I had my spare mounted up top when we stored the tent. Just strapped down with some basic ratchet straps, and ran a security cable with a lock to slow down thieves. As for Maxtrax, I mounted on the driver’s side of the rack using KB Voodoo’s house made mounts.

I have the Hi Rise Crossbars. I like that they can mount over a tonneau cover, specifically a DiamondBack cover which I have. Here’s pictures of the hardware and cross bars after I opened them, they arrived quick.

Here’s how they look installed. I originally put one cross bar over the front panel and one over the back panel of my cover. However this blocks the panels from being able to fully open, so I moved them to both go over just the front panel leaving the back panel able to operate as intended.

My plan is to use them for now to mount my Maxrax and maybe a shovel or something and eventually possibly a RTT

Thanks! Yours too.. I like them a lot. I still have plenty of room so I mounted rhino racks hi-lift mounts to the crossbars

No worries man I appreciate you showing them to me, I’ll prob have a very similar setup before too long. Best part of this set up is you can always take everything off the crossbars fairly easy and open up the DB cover

I want to get one of those pulley systems that attach to the garage ceiling so I can u bolt the cross bars and just lift away.

What is your current process for removing the RTT?

I leave the RTT bolted to the crossbars. I remove 4 tamper proof bolts (circled below) then I get my son to help me lift the whole thing off the vertical risers and I store it in my garage. I marked where the risers need to be on my bed rail so that I can have them in the correct position when it's time to put them on.

Thank you for this. Seems a bit easier/faster than the flat bars I’m using. I think I’m gonna get these.

Definitely recommended. They were solid through rough trails, woops, and prerunning through the desert.

this is sick! Can still be used for a RTT without a tonneau cover, correct? The extra height clearance would be nice compared to the low rise bars from KBVoodoo that I saw.
