1️⃣ Getting Started...
In search of a scanner that I can use to get ATF temp for drain and fill as well as customize some settings such as the seatbelt chime. I do drive with my seatbelt but do not have it on when I back out of my driveway. Want to stop it for that 45 seconds every day. Not looking for an expensive tool, just consumer grade. Thanks !!

I’ve had good luck with the Autel MK808. It’ll read ATF temps and has a bunch of basic customization options like the chime. Not as pricey as pro tools, but still way more capable than cheap code readers.

Hi Teklinh,
I searched for Autel MK808 and saw pricing between $100 and $450. Can you please let me know the specific model you have and about what the pricepoint was?
Thanks!!

Techstream is how you turn off the seat belt chimes, but you can also just snap the speaker off the back of the gauge cluster for free. Doing that also eliminates the annoying ass door chime. One of the best things I did.

There are a number of devices you can get to monitor the trans temp (it's annoying that Toyota doesn't have this built into the truck). The most popular is the ScanGauge, but I opted for a Banks iDash Supergauge.
